Sales Coordinator

Position Summary:

Caprion Biosciences Inc. is seeking an experienced Sales Coordinator with exceptional organizational and customer service skills to provide the necessary support to the field Business Development (BD) team. The successful candidate will be a point of reference for colleagues and customers alike, by assisting in management of Business Development activities, input of information into Salesforce.com based on deal status, and assisting in lead generation. The goal is to facilitate the team’s activities so as to maximize their performance and long-lasting development of the company. The Sales Coordinator will report to the Chief Business Officer (CBO), SVP.

Responsibilities:

  • Assisting with appointment setups based on lead generation programs, conferences/tradeshows, and campaigns;
  • Input of information into Salesforce.com gathered from leads, campaigns, and conferences/tradeshows;
  • Ensure the adequacy of sales-related material is being sent to conferences working with the marketing and logistics group;
  • Assist in the preparation and organizing of promotional material or events;
  • Provide after-sales support when requested by BD team;
  • Provide support to the BD team on Expense reporting and travel plans;
  • Assist the BD team with communicating timeliness to the quote department for proposals ensuring they are delivered on time to the BD team. Act as an internal BD advocate;
  • Provide Salesforce.com reporting updated to CBO monthly for BD meetings;
  • Appointment setups for CBO and BD team (monthly ImmuneCarta and ProteoCarta pipeline review meetings, one on one pipeline review meetings with CBO and BD person);
  • Internal BD event coordination.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in a sales support role;
  • Previous experience in a Life Sciences organization is an asset;
  • Past experience in a Customer Service role with great customer service skills and a positive “can do” attitude;
  • Have a sense of urgency to meet client timelines;
  • Experience with Salesforce.com;
  • Good computer skills (MS Office);
  • Proficiency in English however bilingual in English and French is an asset;
  • Exceptional organizational skills and responsible with an aptitude in problem-solving;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
  • A team player with high level of dedication;
  • BSc/BA in business administration or relevant field;
  • Understanding of the Business Development function within an organization
